The Barn at Lacey Farms is a beautiful & affordable Texas wedding venue located in the scenic countryside near Brenham, Texas. The barn wedding venue is a unique layout of old and new barns, century old oak trees, rocky creek and covered bridge that provide the perfect setting for your outdoor or indoor wedding and indoor reception.
The wedding venue barn is a magical timber frame barn with 30-foot ceilings and 3 large Maria Theresa Chandeliers and can be used as both an indoor wedding barn and indoor reception barn. Rustic Outdoor Wedding Venue Under the Oaks is an outdoor wedding venue is completely shaded by century old Live Oak trees.
As a country wedding venue, there are so many great photos around the scenic property from the rocky creek below the outdoor ceremony site and covered bridge to our 1941 Ford 9N tractor to the horses grazing in the rolling fields to the log cabin historical marker across the road.

The venue is a beautiful and affordable wedding venue with a family and staff that genuinely cares about your special wedding day.
The story behind the Rustic Barn Wedding Venue
Fred and Shannon Lacey started their family business in 2014 with the help of our grown children Fourth, Brent, Jennifer and Zac and their spouses, Nick, Samantha, Kristin and Ariatna, all participating to create a special family owned and operated business.
It was Shannon’s dream to move back to the country and have a family farm or ranch, so the family began looking for their dream land. It wasn’t until the engagement of their daughter, that they consider a farm and wedding venue. Shannon and Fred loved the idea of creating a Wedding venue with a unique outdoor wedding experience under beautiful 150 year old oak trees.
Fred and Shannon’s starting point was the historical old barn that is covered by 150 year old live oak trees. They restored the old barn and made it the focal point of the outdoor ceremony site, and also built the groom quarters inside the old barn. The oaks provide comfort during the summer heat and protection during cold snaps. Fred and Shannon decided the venue should be compact so they built a covered bridge from the parking area across the rocky creek to come out right in between the outdoor ceremony site and the reception barn.
This climate controlled timber framed wedding barn they built has 30 foot ceilings and 3 large chandeliers. It can accommodate up to 182 guests at 48″ round tables. It has a bar, two restrooms and the Bridal Suite inside.
The Barn at Lacey Farms is conveniently located off US 290 and our entrance is on the very first scenic road in Texas, La Bahia Road (FM 390). The rustic wedding venue is just a short drive from Houston, College Station, Bryan and Austin.
