Southern Star Brewing Company was founded in July 2007, located in Conroe, Texas. They were the first craft brewery in the great state of Texas to can craft beer. Due to the dramatic increase in popularity of their brews, they were provided the opportunity to move the operations in to a brand new, custom built facility in 2016. Southern Star Brewing now sits on over 13-acres of wooded property, with an extraordinary tap room to overlook the production brewhouse, an outdoor Biergarten with a live music stage and a disc golf course. They love entertaining Their guests Thursdays through Sunday and giving brewery tours at 2pm and 4pm every Saturday.
Painting Classes
Painting classes are offered every Sunday at the brewery with MTH Art Studio! These classes are the perfect way to unwind, socialize, and express your artistic side. The classes are open to both adults ($45) and kids ($15).
Taproom
Children are allowed at the brewery, but they must be accompanied by a legal guardian at all times. Your furry friends are also welcome but they must stay in the outdoor areas and on a lease at all times. Dogs are not allowed inside the taproom unless it is a service animal.
If you would like a little something to eat while you kick back and enjoy the delicious spirits, outside food is welcome. You can bring it with you or order it and have it delivered. Just in case you are wondering, no, you do not have to share with the class!
And of course, absolutely no outside alcohol is permitted on the Southern Star Brewing property!
Beer
Southern Star Brewing offers “year round” flavors, “seasonal” flavors and “limited releases” flavors. So, when visiting you will always have Bombshell Blonde Ale, Strawberry Blonde, Southern Brunch, Conspiracy Theory, and Buried Hatchet Stout to choose from. Seasonally you will have Mama Rosa Gose, Ocktoberfest (guess when this one is available!), Metzli, and Winter Warmer. Southern Star Brewery also has many limited release flavors. Enjoy them while you can!

Founder and president of Southern Star Brewing Company, Dave Fougeron, hosts a podcast for your enjoyment. This is a great way for the company to connect with the fans and customers. On the podcast Dave delves into specific beers, talks about what is going on behind the scenes at the brewery and tap room, or he just talks about what deserves to be talked about!
