One Quilt Place is nestled on 5 acres just 1 ½ miles from Main Street in historic Fredericksburg, Texas. Our shop is newly renovated with 5,000 square feet brimming with treasures for the quilting enthusiast and wool lovers.
We have filled our shop with your favorite lines: Moda, Island Batiks, Hoffman, Benartex, Westminster, RJR, Andover, and Quilting Treasures, to name a few.
Special attention has been spent on our vast collection of Batiks, Texas, wildflowers, and numerous new and seasonal collections. That’s one way to say we will always have a special place for Christmas & your gift-giving projects.
Stop in to see our great selection of books, patterns, kits, notions, unique handmade quilting tools, gifts, jewelry and novelties. Bring your favorite guy & let him relax in our man zone, complete with a flat screen TV & coffee bar. You can take your time finding just what you need, that gift for your quilting friend or something fun to remember your visit.
The Cottages at One Quilt Places
One Quilt Place has everything you could want for your quilting travels including a 1,900 square foot hill country stone cottage that comfortably sleeps 10. Accommodations include 1 king Sleep Number Bed and 8 twins; and includes 3 full baths, cozy sitting area, kitchen, hot tub, and private fenced courtyard just steps away from the Shop and Studio. Step back in time using the 2 beautiful antique armoires from the Black Forest region of Germany. Let us help you plan your next retreat with special demonstrations, door prizes, late night hours in the studio and the shop all to yourselves – what fun!

Historic 1883 Log Cabin
Complete with an historical marker & built by the Wunderlich family, the log cabin is part of an original 10 acre homestead. Accommodations include a queen bed, fireplace, kitchen, Jacuzzi bathtub & shower, step back in time while enjoying the luxuries of the present. The log cabin is featured in two books on historic homes in Fredericksburg, they are located in the cabin for your enjoyment. The garden in front of the cabin features all native plants to attract butterflies and hummingbirds. Parking provided on the left side of the driveway.

The Studio at One Quilt Place
One Quilt Place has a 1,500 square foot hill country stone building, perfect for our students & quilt bees. We offer a great selection of classes, many in the evening & on Saturdays.
We are known for our reasonable prices with a shop discount for your supplies. With a variety of classes taught by many teachers from the
hill country, there is something for everyone, from beginner to expert.
