In the early 1900s, Joe N. Baylor had a dream. His dream was to open a lumber yard in Navasota, Texas. This dream became reality around 1902.
Hard work and a passion for the lumber industry led to continued success and growth for his company. Baylor Lumber Company continued its strong growth through WWI, The Great Depression, WWII, and even Y2K.
Today, over 120 years later, that same passion continues with owners Vickie Kolbasinski 30+ years & Gerald Schomburg 30 years. With these combined years of experience and dedication and very helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly staff, Baylor Lumber today remains stronger than ever.
Baylor Lumber Company offers a full line of building materials including: Yellow Pine framing lumber, Pressure treated lumber, all types of fencing, Pine Sidings, Hardi Sidings, LP Smart siding and trim. They sell quality Benjamin Moore paints and can custom match any color. If you can dream it, they can match it!
