The visiting hours depend on the events being organized. Events are held from March to May, and September to December. There are also field trips for school students. The farm can be contacted for visiting hours and other details. Whenever events are held, tickets can be purchased online.

Why visit the farm?

  • Barton Hill Farms is spread over 118 acres of land and is on the Colorado River banks just 30 miles from the Texas capital Austin. It is an ideal place for Texans as well as tourists to visit to enjoy various activities.
  • March and April is when the Berries & Bunnies festival is held. Live music, fun and games, mobile dairy classroom, and dine & drink are things to do. The Blooms & Brew festival in May would have live entertainment with fun things for kids and parents. From September to November, the Fall Festival and Pumpkin patch has pumpkins on sale with games, crafts, and activities. Special events are held in December for Christmas.
  • School children need to learn about happens in a farm and how crops are grown. Field trips are the best way to do this. The trip offers learning and fun.
